Those who served aboard a warship with special significance to the Bay Area were honored not far from the Golden Gate Bridge. The USS San Francisco took part in some of the most significant fighting in the pacific during the World War II battle of Guadalcanal.

Come join a community of Veterans and family members of the “Frisco” crew as we pay tribute to their courage, and the memory of all the men and women in uniform who have given their lives in the service of their country.
